This piece began as a commission but grew into something that felt almost alive. The form opens slowly, like leaves stretching toward the sun or petals just before they bloom. A soft crystalline glaze settles into pale tones that blend with deep greens, giving it depth.

There’s a light placed inside, so the sculpture has two different personalitys. During the day, you see the shape and surface; at night, it glows from within and new contours appear in the shadows it casts. It brings a gentle, atmospheric light to a room.
